Frequently Asked Questions

What is RTT?

RTT is a powerful award-winning therapy technique that allows you to access your subconscious mind and get to the root cause of why you feel stuck or keep repeating patterns. Then uses custom personalised transformational tools to help you create and embed new thoughts, habits, beliefs and behaviour – for fast, effective, and long-term change.

How does RTT work?

Unlike a lot of other therapies which often focus on symptoms, RTT enables you to have powerful breakthroughs and make significant changes in your life, by getting to the root cause of your issue and resolving it from there. These issues are often created in early childhood where our thought patterns and limiting beliefs start to form before our mind has fully developed. However, we may not always see consequences until much later in life so we don’t realise that things stem from our childhood.

What can RTT help with?

RTT can help you overcome all different kinds of issues from mental health, stress and weight loss to money blocks and sleep problems, and everything in between. It works best when focused on one specific topic so the mind can focus on the root cause and solution for that issue. That being said, often multiple challenges are linked and solving one also helps overcome the other.

How long does RTT take to work?

Most issues can be overcome or at least significantly improved in just one session. Some are more complex and may take up to three. I can’t be certain until we do the first session, which is why I only book you in for one to get started. The success of the session and level of transformation you experience, will be heavily influenced by you listening to your custom recording consistently for 28 days.

Will I lose control or fall asleep?

You’ll be awake and in full control of everything you choose to say and do throughout the whole session. You’ll just be in a state of deep relaxation.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Being in hypnosis just feels like being deeply relaxed but still awake. We’ll be having a conversation throughout most of the session and you’ll be in complete control the whole time. The experience feels different for different people, sometimes some people feel light a tingling in their body or a floating sensation and some people don’t really feel any different, other than it being super easy to keep their eyes closed. Importantly, physical feelings aren’t an indicator of how deep in hypnosis you are or how effectively its working.

How does RTT work online?

Actually, the majority of RTT sessions around the world are done online via Zoom and are just as successful as working together in-person. The most important thing is for you to be comfortable, for us to be able to hear each other clearly, and I will need to be able to see your face. We will go through all the details together in your getting set up for success session.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

Definitely not! You’re in control the whole time. We’ll be having a conversation throughout the session and you’ll be aware of everything going on and be able to move your body. Occasionally people even open their eyes – it doesn’t matter. If we’re doing a session online and get disconnected for any reason, you’ll come back to full alertness on your own and we’ll reconnect.

How long is a session?

I always allow two hours for a full RTT session. The majority of this session will be spent in hypnosis, getting to the root cause of your issue and then releasing the emotional charge and starting to overcome it.

What if I can’t be hypnotised?

Everybody can be hypnotised as long as they want to be. It’s easier than you think and just feels like going into a state of deep relaxation.

What if I already know the reasons behind my issue?

You may already have part of the answer but in my experience, most people go back to memories/scenes that are completely different to what they expected and there’s always a very good reason to revisit them as they give us a lot of relevant information.

What if I go back to memories I don't want to revisit?

You’ll be in a very safe space at all times. The most important thing is that you will be reviewing memories, not reliving them. You’ve already lived through the experience so you are absolutely strong enough to review the memory of it, from a safe distance.

How will I feel after a session?

Everyone’s different and it may depend on the topic of your session and what memories we revisit. Some people feel immediately lighter at the end of their session, some people need some time to reflect and process what came up for them. There’s no right or wrong way to feel and it isn’t an indication of how the session went. You’ll be sent more information on this after your session and you get 30 days of email support from me too.
